Glaspey worked for a rural cooperative in eastern Oregon and was an itinerant speech-language pathologist. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon in Communication Disorders and Sciences, and additionaly, completed masters degrees in Communication Disorders and Sciences and Early Intervention/Early Childhood Special Education. This test helps clinicians better measure how much help a child needs to successfully say speech sounds and patterns when struggling to say them correctly.Īmy Glaspey grew up in Kalispell, Montana and graduated from Flathead High School. Glaspey's test, The Glaspey Dynamic Assessment of Phonology, has been recently nationally normed and released for publication by Academic Therapy Publications. Glaspey is director of the SPEAK lab (Speech, Phonology, Early Articulation, & Knowledge Lab), and the SPARK Clinic (Speech, Phonology, and Articulation Remediation for Kids). She loves her teaching and research in assessment and treatment of speech sound disorders.
